Scheduled reports and alerts
The questions you ask every Monday, answered before you ask. Downpour and Monsoon.
Updated
In short
On Downpour and Monsoon, WavyCloud sends a daily pulse, a weekly P&L and a monthly ads review to Slack or email, and alerts you when stock runs low, spend is wasted, the Buy Box is lost or ACoS spikes. Playbooks can propose changes, but they never apply them without your approval.
What you can schedule
| Report | When | What's in it |
|---|---|---|
| Daily pulse | Every morning | Yesterday's sales, units, ad spend and ACoS, plus anything unusual |
| Weekly P&L | Monday, 8:00 your time | Sales, Amazon fees, ad spend, refunds and profit, next to the week before |
| Monthly ads review | First business day of the month | Spend, sales and ACoS by campaign, top wasted search terms, bid and negative suggestions |
Each one is the same answer you'd get by asking in chat, sent on a schedule.
Alerts
Alerts fire when something crosses a line you set:
| Alert | Fires when |
|---|---|
| Stockout risk | A SKU's FBA stock covers fewer days of sales than your threshold, counting what's inbound |
| Wasted spend | A search term passes your spend limit with zero orders |
| Lost Buy Box | You lose the Buy Box on an ASIN you watch |
| ACoS spike | A campaign's ACoS rises above your limit over your chosen window |
Start with loose thresholds and tighten them. An alert you learn to ignore is worse than no alert.
Where they go
- Slack: connect a workspace in WavyCloud and pick a channel. One channel per brand keeps things readable.
- Email: add as many addresses as you like, including your business partner, who will finally stop asking “how are we doing?”
Set one up
- Open Reports in WavyCloud and choose New schedule or New alert.
- Pick the account, the marketplace and the report or alert.
- Set the time, your time zone and any thresholds.
- Choose Slack, email or both, then send a test.
Playbooks
Playbooks are recurring jobs that end in a proposal, not a change:
- Negative-keyword harvest: finds search terms that keep spending without orders and proposes negatives.
- Bid nudges: proposes small bid changes on keywords far above or below your target ACoS.
- Budget pacing: flags campaigns that run out of budget early or barely spend.
Each proposal arrives as a preview. Approve it in chat or in WavyCloud, edit it, or ignore it. Nothing changes until you do.
