Connect Amazon Ads and Seller Central
Two consent screens, both Amazon's. No passwords, no API keys, no browser bots.
Updated
In short
WavyCloud connects through Amazon's official sign-in: the Selling Partner API for Seller Central and the Amazon Ads API for advertising. You approve each on Amazon's consent screen, pick your accounts and ad profiles, and can revoke access from WavyCloud or from Amazon at any time.
Two connections, two jobs
Amazon keeps selling data and advertising data in two separate APIs, so WavyCloud asks for two separate approvals.
| Connection | Amazon API | What it unlocks | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seller Central | Selling Partner API (SP-API) | Orders, sales metrics, FBA and AWD inventory, inbound shipments, fees, settlements, catalog, pricing, reports | Read-only |
| Amazon Ads | Amazon Ads API | Sponsored Products campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targets, negatives, bid recommendations, reports | Read-only until you allow changes |
You can connect one without the other. Profit questions need both, because ad spend lives in one API and fees live in the other. SP-API vs Amazon Ads API explains the split.
Connect Seller Central
- In WavyCloud, choose Connect Amazon, then Seller Central.
- Sign in to Seller Central as the account owner or a user with permission to authorize apps.
- Review the permissions on Amazon's consent screen and confirm.
- Pick the marketplaces you sell in: US, Canada or Mexico.
WavyCloud never requests Amazon's restricted buyer data, so buyer names and addresses never reach your AI chat.
Connect Amazon Ads
- Choose Connect Amazon, then Amazon Ads.
- Sign in with the Amazon account that has access to your advertising console.
- Approve WavyCloud on the Login with Amazon consent screen.
- Tick the ad profiles you want. A profile is one advertiser in one marketplace, so a brand selling in the US and Canada has two.
Ads access starts read-only. To let WavyCloud change bids, budgets, keyword state or negatives, turn on Allow changes for that profile. Even then, every change is a preview first. See Changes, previews and approvals.
How many accounts can I connect?
| Plan | Seller Central accounts | Ad profiles |
|---|---|---|
| Drizzle | 1 | 1 |
| Downpour | Up to 5 accounts and profiles combined | Up to 5 accounts and profiles combined |
| Monsoon | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Revoke access
You can disconnect any account from WavyCloud at any time, and WavyCloud stops calling Amazon for it straight away. You can also revoke from Amazon's side:
- Seller Central: go to Apps and Services, then Manage Your Apps, and remove WavyCloud.
- Amazon Ads: remove WavyCloud from the apps you've authorized with Login with Amazon in your Amazon account settings.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an Amazon developer account?
No. You approve WavyCloud on Amazon's consent screen like any other app. There's no developer registration and no API keys to copy.
Can a team member connect the account?
Yes, if their Seller Central user is allowed to authorize apps. For ads, they need access to the advertising account they're connecting.
Does WavyCloud support Europe or Japan?
Not yet. US, Canada and Mexico are live today. Europe and the Far East are next. Email hello@wavycloud.com and we'll tell you the date.
